CHENNAI MARCH 30: HP Inc believes that it can replicate the success of the rest of the product lines with the relatively new refillable ink tank printers and the A3 printers.
The consumer watchdog stated its printer tests revealed the figure, adding the machines could “cost you a fortune to run if you print only occasionally”, and noting: “Pick the wrong printer and it could empty your wallet as fast it drains the ink tanks. Though you can buy a decent printer for under £40 ($50/€46), the cost of ink to keep it running can end up being far more than this – especially with a wasteful printer. We run extensive ink consumption tests to expose the thirstiest printers, whether you print every day or just occasionally.”
Clover Imaging Group (CIG) is excited to announce its acquisition of DC Imaging’s ColorLabs Ink Innovations business (ColorLabs), an innovative developer of high quality aftermarket mailroom consumable products and premier supplier of specialty imaging supplies for the mailing, packaging, and printing industries.
NEW YORK – Xerox CEO Jeff Jacobson made his case for digital transformation during the Rochester, N.Y.-based company’s biggest announcement in 110 years.
No one sees technology come and go like those in IT. Whether you are a VAR, MSP, software developer or integrator, you must be able to identify what is a trend, a fad, a new term, or whether it is something else that might be useful to explore. One such term that we hear a lot about is “server-less” print management solutions.
OK, I’m going to talk about something completely different this week. Our son decided chemistry was for him in his undergraduate years, and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in physical chemistry at Temple University in Philadelphia. Coincidentally, he resides only a short distance from Printing Impressions’ office downtown. One of his tasks as a researcher is to stay informed on what state of the art means every month, so when we speak (which thankfully is often) he informs me of some really interesting developments he has run across.
